THESE ARE THE SIMPLE OUTFIT IDEAS FOR OUR BELOVED TEACHERS!
With the start of the school year just around the corner. I’m getting a lot of requests for teacher outfits.
Every year, I get these requests, but I’ve never written about it because I don’t feel qualified to tell teachers what to wear…I’ve never been a teacher!
However, because so many of you are teachers, I decided to ask YOU. So I asked you to tell me about your favorite teacher outfits, and I devised ten teacher outfit formulas.
Here are some things to note about these teacher outfits:
If something doesn’t suit your tastes, you can replace it. Because your school’s dress code for teachers may differ from others, some of these suggestions may be too casual – you can easily dress them up with dressier shoes, pants, or a blouse. Don’t forget about the layers! If you’ve been teaching for a while, you’re aware of this. But, as many of you mentioned, heat and air conditioning can be unpredictable, so being prepared to shed or add layers is essential.
TEACHER OUTFIT STYLE NO.1: SWEATER WITH DARK JEANS, ANKLE BOOTS, AND HEADBAND.
This is a super simple outfit that you can throw on in 30 seconds and still look and feel put together.
If you want to dress it up a little more, swap the dark jeans for trousers.
I like how the headband adds some dimension!
TEACHER OUTFIT STYLE NO.2: BLAZER, STRAIGHT-LEG JEANS, LOAFERS, AND PRINTED TEE
A Blazer instantly elevates an outfit’s sophistication.
A sweater blazer, on the other hand, is exceptional because it is as comfortable as a sweatshirt while maintaining the structure and chicness of a blazer.
You can wear it with skinny jeans, trousers, or whatever suits your style and dress code.
The pattern makes the outfit less simple and neutral.
TEACHER OUTFIT STYLE NO.3: MIDI SKIRT WITH BLOUSE AND SANDALS
A midi skirt is a stylish and comfortable option for the classroom.
Dress it down with a tee instead of a blouse, and dress it up with heeled sandals, wedges, ankle boots, or flats.
TEACHER OUTFIT STYLE NO.4: COMFY DRESS WITH JACKET AND ANKLE BOOTS
This Merrick White Collection dress is one of our best sellers for teachers.
It’s super soft, machine washable, long enough for getting down on the floor with elementary school kids, and has pockets!
A denim jacket adds structure, and ankle boots or flats complete the look. Dress it down with basic white sneakers.
TEACHER OUTFIT STYLE NO.5: PANTS, TEE, CARDIGAN, AND FLATS.
This one is extremely simple.
Trousers (or jeans or even leggings!), a fun tee, a long cardigan sweater, and flats complete this look.
TEACHER OUTFIT STYLE NO.6: MIDI DRESS WITH SNEAKERS
A midi dress is always a good option – extra length, especially when teaching elementary school and being on the ground with your students, is a big plus.
You could dress it up with flats or wedges, but sneakers are a more fun, casual option.
TEACHER OUTFIT STYLE NO.7: LAYERED SWEATER AND TURTLENECK WITH JEANS AND FLATS
This is clearly an autumn or winter outfit, but I adore it!
The layered tops allow you to remove or add layers as needed throughout the day.
You could dress this outfit down by wearing sneakers!
TEACHER OUTFIT STYLE NO.8: MIDI SKIRT WITH SWEATER AND SNEAKERS
I adore the midi skirt and sweater combo! in a preppy sort of way, it feels chic and effortless.
Wore it with sneakers (as you suggested). But it would also look great with flats or ankle boots.
I hope this was useful! Remember to grab your free printable at the top of the post.
And perhaps share this with teachers you admire to assist them in getting dressed and feeling amazing and confident.
