No-Makeup, Makeup!

We often go overboard with our makeup, giving ourselves full glam, smoky eyes, bold lips, and perfect sharp contour. However, that’s not needed all the time. Sometimes it’s nice to give yourself and your skin a break from that full glam blanket of coverage and go with no-makeup. Opt for the no-makeup makeup look.

No-makeup, makeup is all about looking natural and dewy while concealing your imperfection. It is the most suited makeup for any skin type. It works well for any season or any time. All you need to do is follow a few tips and tricks to create that flawless no-makeup makeup look. And you are good to go.

Skin Preps

The most important part here is to prep your skin for the makeup. It would help if you had a skincare regime to look natural and all dewy. Exfoliate and cleanse your skin. Use a hydrating moisturizer to look natural and moisturized. You must have your skin hydrated to create the perfect base for the makeup. It is the basic rule of any makeup, be it full glam to soft and light or the no-makeup makeup.

Don’t forget to apply your sunscreen. It protects your skin from harmful UV rays.

Using a primer is optional here. If you want to fill any visible pores or fine lines, it blurs out all the fine lines and open pores to give a smooth base. You can even go out with all-natural skin; keep it hydrated.

Use a light concealer to hide some imperfections—no need to use concealer on the entire face. Just cover dark circles or some blemishes cleverly without using too much product.

I would suggest you go easy on the foundation. You can also use a BB cream or a tinted moisturizer instead of a foundation. It may be very light on your skin and perfectly do the job. It will not pile up on the skin and gives it a very natural and dewy glow.

Cheek and Lip Tint

To give it a more flushed and natural look, apply a cheek tint or a cream blush on the apple of your cheeks. Opt for a cream or liquid-based product here, as powder leaves texture on the skin. And same goes for the lips. Use a tint of a tinted lip balm for a natural shine on your pout.

You can use a creamy highlighter on the high points of your face. It may just boost your glow, creating a flattering dewy look.

It would be best to fill in any extra visible spaces in your eyebrows. Fill them with any brow pencil and brush them up.

Apply some volumizing mascara to your lashes. It may make your eyes more defined without needing eyeliner. It is also optional; you can use an eyelash curler or a clean spoolie to brush your lashes.

In the end, you can use a setting spray to set your no-makeup makeup. It is the best way to let your makeup be in place. And for a more radiant and instant glow, you can spray your face with rose water mist. Let it dry and see the magic! You can thank me later.

The best part about no makeup, makeup is that it appears so natural that it looks like you are not wearing any makeup. It is a significant trend and looks great on anyone. And it is super easy to pull it off.
