The twelfth edition of the London Fashion Week menswear Autumn Winter event drew to a close on Monday. The four-day-long event showcased British heritage brands to emerging international and national labels and vibrant street-wear brands. While we definitely know utilitarian clothes are “in” right now and so are relaxed suits, we took things one step further and predicted the next big need-to-know trends. The future of menswear is looking slick and shiny if London Fashion Week Men’s is anything to go by. As the first city to initiate men’s season, London’s fashion week offerings lean towards the experimental and provide a strong platform for new ideas, even if they don’t always pan out into the commercial sector – at least not right away.
This winter, you’ll want to wrap up in the coziest outerwear of all. Puffer coats ruled the runway this season. Designers like Liam Hodges, Tonsure, Alex Mullins reigned the runway with these pieces.
