Hi, I’m considering installing solar panels, but I’m not sure if my roof is suitable for it. What do you think? What orientation should my roof be facing for optimal solar power generation?

That’s a good question. The suitability of a roof for solar panels depends on several factors, such as its orientation, shading, and structural integrity. You can use a solar panel calculator https://a1solarstore.com/solar-calculator.html to assess the feasibility of your roof for solar panels. Ideally, your roof should be facing south or southwest to get the most sunlight. East and west-facing roofs can also work, but they may not generate as much electricity. North-facing roofs are not suitable for solar panels.

Most roofs are suitable for installing solar panels, so I don’t think you need to worry about that, but of course, you better make sure.
