We asked style experts for their expectations on the festival fashion trends that will be assuming control over Commendable Homestead this year…
Cowgirl cool:
The cowgirl trend is as yet continuing forward, and this summer there are two ways to wear it.
“The coastal cowgirl trend is a Western-enlivened style that has taken control over social media this year and is easy to embrace into your celebration style,” says Johnson, who prescribes double denim outfits to “perfectly combat unpredictable UK weather”.
And, obviously, cowpoke boots: “There are so many styles with regards to cowboy boots, whether it’s a suede material, a bordered sew, or a stitch detail, the decision is yours and you’ll surely captivate everyone.”
The other, more bright, cowgirl look is ‘Western Barbie’.
“Unlike your usual cowgirl outfit with quieted tones and cleaned-out denim shorts, this trend is intense and energetic,” Wyer says.
“Everything unquestionably revolves around layering up an all-pink outfit, decorated with embellishment or metallics and matched with some attractive cowboy boots. Make certain to have somewhere around one statement piece – you can’t go excessively far with this look.”
Suit up:
Very X Lucy Mecklenburgh Long Sleeve Bardot Beach Playsuit, £25
A jazzy jumpsuit or printed playsuit is your easy route to festival cool.
“From stunning sequins to shimmery cross-section to bell sleeves and an extreme strap neck, all-in-ones are viable yet fabulous style statements that you can rapidly toss on and go,” says Johnson.
“For even more bust help while moving the day away, go ahead and wear a brilliantly colored bikini underneath to highlight to feature the raver vibe.”
Mesh moment:
A trend that began the catwalks last year, mesh and macrame textures are huge news this summer.
“Mesh can be energetic and tense or sheer and provocative, depending on the amount you need to cover,” says Wyer.
“You can settle on a beachy open-sew dress or a flowy sheer ensemble, worn over a silk slip dress or a swimsuit and shorts. Team with a couple of statement sunglasses and a few stout boots and you’re all set.”
