China Anne McClain is back at it again, 10 years later, performing the song “Calling All the Monsters”. This time the music video includes her sisters Sierra McClain and Lauryn McClain and features “Messenger”.
“Calling All the Monsters” was one of my favorite Halloween songs growing up so I was ecstatic when I found out they were doing a new version of the song which can be found on Disney’s official YouTube channel. The new version is a total BOP and they did an amazing job vocally and production-wise but can we take a moment to appreciate the fabulous costumes? All the costumes presented are absolute perfection. Let’s take a look!
The sisters looked absolutely stunning in these costumes. I’m sure this vintage, gothic look is a fan favorite! The accessories and hair coupled with the multi-layered costumes can only be described as a match made in heaven. Additionally, the makeup was so well-done, and can we talk about China’s blue contact lenses? They suit her so well.
Next, the McClain sisters’ second set of outfits included gold, black, and silver embellishments. Similar in color to their first set of outfits but very different in design. Undoubtedly beautiful nevertheless.
These next set of costumes incorporated the use of masks in an interesting way. From a “rabbit” face to a “pumpkin” face. Too funny! Additionally, masks are a great way to remain a mystery.
I assume this guy is supposed to be a vampire and that’s supposed to be his bride. This would make a perfect Halloween look for a couple.
Let’s be honest, this set of costumes were a little weird but weird is good. Especially for Halloween. What I loved most about this music video is that there was at least one costume that was suitable for anyone’s taste, style, and preference.
