Today I’ll be showing you some D.I.Y chokers that I absolutely love. For me, It is good to create your own fashion out from scratch. Reuse. When I was little I started to love my mother’s hobby. She loves to create something new out from a piece of scratch. She’s like Tinkerbell. Growing up I begin to like and do the things she really does. My first D.I.Y is chokers. Before YouTube is not that popular, so my source of knowledge is from the book and magazines. I keep on seeing beautiful girls wearing chokers around their necks. I describe it as unique because it is new to me. I say unique because they are made out of cloth and embedded beads. Young me always think that jewelry/ necklaces are only made out of gold, silver, and diamonds.
The pictures that I’ll be using today are from Pinterest. These are easy and the materials can be found online or in the stores near you. Just show your creativeness.
Bohemian Choker
Things to prepare for this type of choker necklace:
- Nylon wire
- Colorful Beads
- Pendants
- Scissors
Step 1: You’ll need to get the size of your neck and after that the length of your desired necklace. Cut them off using scissors. Nylons can be cut by ordinary scissors because of thin wire.
Step 2: Put the beads according to your design. You can alternate the colors you want. Add bigger beads in the middle to look more attractive.
Step 3: Cut both ends and twist and lock the nylon wire. Make sure you lock it tight.
TIPS: LEARN TO MATCH THE COLOR OF THE BEADS THAT DEPENDS ON THE TYPE OF YOUR DESTINATION AND OUTFIT.
