Weddings are events we all yearn for and every detail matters, especially the gowns and wedding suits. It’s at weddings where people have lots of fun with friends, and family, and even get to know other people. With a wedding in the plan, one has to consider the outfit that will perfectly grace the event. And picking the right wedding suits for both the groom and his best men is one very important step. In my blog today, I will touch on various aspects concerning wedding suits– so that you never have to worry about planning your wedding outfit again. Hope you enjoy it!
What colour is the best for wedding suits?
When it comes to colour, in most cases, wedding cocktail attire calls for a charcoal or navy suit. Especially when you are to attend late afternoon and evening weddings. Pair a charcoal navy suit with a solid white button-down shirt, tie or bowtie, and simple black leather shoes.

With the wedding suit in question, you will also have to consider prices for various suit types. For instance, in the mid-range, a groom can buy a nice suit for between 300 USD and 800 USD. And, on the high end, it can cost him about 800 USD to 1500 USD. This is for the purchase of a quality designer wool or linen tuxedo or suit. The average groom’s tuxedo or suit costs about 200 USD, according to the Bridal Association of America.
Is it okay to wear wedding suits without a tie to a wedding?
This solely depends on the occasion. However, the answer is generally, no. Not wearing a tie with a suit, would be like not wearing socks with your shoes on. Or, not wearing cuff links with your cuffs on! Pretty crazy, right? Point is, that the suit is designed for the tie and would be lost without it.
Should groomsmen wear different suits to a wedding?
My answer to this is a big no. Suit colours and fabrics should match especially for the best men. It can, however, be done successfully. Though, only if done in a subtle way would it work.
