Last weekend I got a chance to go for an 8-hour drive away from my hometown for a weekend getaway with my family. It was a fun trip, full of laughter and eating. I also make sure that I pack the outfits that I could share with all of you. So here are a few of my weekend outfit getaway ideas.
Crop Top Hoody Jacket On Legging Style
For a drive going to a resort where we are going to stay for the weekend, I choose a baby blue crop top hoody jacket that I paired with a black legging and a white sneaker (it’s somewhat the same from the picture, the difference is my crop top jacket has a zipper in the front and it has no pocket. I got it from forever 21 and it has the best quality of a hoody jacket). I choose this style because it’s an 8-hour driver and I want to be comfortable in the car as much as possible. I just let my hair down to give extra style to the outfit.
Crop White Tank Top On Legging Style
After a long drive, we all want to freshen up and change to something more comfortable. I decided to change my first outfit to a crop white tank top and choose a workout black legging paired with a white sneaker and went for a walk. Kendal is my inspiration in this outfit obviously.
Ribbed Leopard Reversible Bikini Style
A weekend getaway will not be complete without a beach bond. This ribbed leopard reversible bikini is the same color and style as my getaway bikini. I got it from Zaful and I love the fit and the quality as well as the design. Usually, I wear a plain bikini but this time I want a change of look so as much as possible I’m trying different colors or a mix & combo of colors.
Sleep Wear Outfit Ideas
I know, not all of us will sleep in a quick getaway. I mean we want to spend more time and enjoy every moment but not me. I need to have a good sleep or else I will be having a bad headache in the morning that is why I choose the best sleepwear I have in my closet. For this weekend getaway, I want to be more comfortable and that I will easily get to sleep so I just choose a comfy plain silk pajama dress. I have a trick whenever I’m on a trip, I always bring a good set of pajamas that I can wear outside just in case there is an emergency in the hotel or the resort I stayed in. It’s the trick that I’m used to ever since I started traveling.
Silk Top On Denim Style Outfit Ideas
Silk top on denim style is so chic if you pair it with espadrille shoes. I wore the same color and style of a silk top in the picture and it is a good match to the denim shorts. I also bring an army green soft trench coat just in case I get cold.
Dress For Extra Style
Just in case you have unplanned dinner in the restaurant make sure to bring a dress that you can wear for a restaurant or maybe to the bar and on the beach. This is the dress that I called a ‘multipurpose outfit’ because you can wear it everywhere.
A weekend getaway is much needed every once in a while to recharge and unwind. Remember, a weekend getaway will not be as happy as wearing the best OOTD we could post on social media so better choose the right outfits for your next weekend getaway.
