The most attractive parts of our body is our face. It comes in unique variety. Facial symmetry has been shown to be considered attractive in women, and men. There are many factors which influence one person’s attraction to another, with physical aspects being one of them.

If you don’t know your face shape yet, below are some classification to determine your face shape:

  1.  HEART SHAPE

Heart Face Shape commonly known as V-shaped face, has been proven to be the most attractive face shape to have. Also has a pointy chin and widow’s peak.

The perfect haircut for a heart-shaped face is the long bob (aka lob) is a popular haircut that just so happens to be universally flattering, and it gets the green light from Jennifer Matos, a celebrity stylist at the Rita Hazan Salon. “The lob is a great haircut that works well for heart-shaped faces,” she says. It is also a perfect haircut to try when transitioning from a longer length. If you’ve got fine tresses, style your lob with a cool-girl side flip for an instant boost of volume.

2. OVAL FACE SHAPE.

Oval face shape are slightly longer than they are wide, similar to the shape of an egg, and the cheekbones are the widest part of the face. Is regarded as the ideal face shape. Naturally, because of it’s proportions and balance allow it to pull of any haircut styles, haircut and makeup with ease.

Amy Abramite, creative director at Maxine Salon in Chicago tells us, “An oval shape face is the ideal form for balance; the forehead and jawline are equally petite with soft elongating outlines creating slenderness, while a touch of width at the sides highlights the cheekbones.” Still, that’s not to say that those with round, oblong, square, and heart-shaped faces can’t achieve facial symmetry. After all, it’s all about the right haircut to give the illusion of an oval face.”

3. SQUARE FACE SHAPE.

Square Face Shape has the same width from jawline, cheekbones, and forehead. More precised jawline and similar appearance to oval face shape.

As celebrity hairstylist GIovanni Vaccaro notes, the goal should be to “take attention completely away from the jawline and put it on the length of the hair. “There are literally dozens of styles that work on square face shapes, though Vaccaro is partial to one, in particular. “Soft and layered is the way to go,” he says.

4. DIAMOND FACE SHAPE.

Diamond face shape has a narrow forehead and small chin.

The short length of her hair frames her face and “takes attention away from sharp features,” says Scott King. The real MVP of this style, though, are those swept side bangs. “Side-swept bangs or a deep side part is flattering since it lays across the forehead covering half of it.”

You can now easily identify your face shape and some hairstyles or haircuts that suits your face. Now all you have to do is to flaunt it with confidence. Don’t let anyone dim your beautiful face.
